Welcome to Talaria (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the App.

2. Description of Service

Talaria is a storytelling platform that allows users to generate books, stories, and fairy tales chapter by chapter. Some features of the App may require a subscription or additional payment.

3. Accounts and Security

  1. Account Creation: You don’t need to create an account to use the App. When you install the App on your device a new unique ID is generated. This ID is only used to merge stories for one account, and is in no way tied to personal data.
  2. Account Responsibility: You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
  3. Age Restrictions: The App is not intended for children under 13. By using the App, you confirm you meet the age requirements.

4. Subscription and Payment

  1. Free Tier: Users can generate up to 10 chapters for free.
  2. Subscription: To unlock unlimited chapter generation, you must subscribe to a premium plan. Subscription pricing is displayed in the App and managed through Apple’s App Store or Google Play.
  3. Payment Processing: Payments are handled by third-party platforms. We do not store your payment details.
  4. Cancellation and Refunds: Subscriptions can be canceled through your device’s account settings. Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple or Google.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  1. Use the App for unlawful purposes.
  2. Submit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
  3. Interfere with the App’s functionality or security.
  4. Reverse engineer or exploit the App’s software.

6. Intellectual Property

  1. Ownership: Talaria and its content, including text, graphics, and code, are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
  2. Generated Content: Stories or chapters generated using the App remain your property. However, by using the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your generated content for promotional or analytical purposes, subject to our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Use the App at your own risk.

8. Modifications to the App or Terms

We reserve the right to:

  1. Modify or discontinue the App at any time without notice.
  2. Update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or if we need to discontinue the service. Upon termination, your rights to use the App will cease.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
