Talaria App (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, Talaria (“the App”).
By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
We don’t collect any private data or device information. IDs we use for data storage are randomly generated or sequence numbers. There is no way to associate generated ID or collected data with real persons. However, we collect certain types of information to improve your experience and provide our services. This includes:
a. Information for stories and chapters generation
- Account Details: For each App installation we generate individual unique ID. This id is only used to merge stories for one account, and is in no way tied to personal data.
- Story Plot Details: The age (just a number without a birth date), and gender for proper generation of a story plot (since stories for adults or children of different ages should be different), and any name of the main character (not linked to any account detail and can be any word including things not related to human names). This data is solely used for the purpose of creating a story using the ChatGPT API.
- Payment Information: When subscribing to additional chapters generation, payment information is processed securely by third-party payment providers (e.g., Apple or Google). We do not store your payment details.
b. Usage Data
- Generated Content: Stories or chapters you create using the App.
- Subscription Status: Status of subscription for additional chapters generation without any links to any accounts.
c. Analytics Data
We do not use any third-party analytics tools to collect or process usage data.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To Provide the Service: Allow you to create, access, and manage stories or chapters.
- Subscription Management: Verify your subscription status and process payments using third-party payment providers (e.g., Apple or Google).
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. However, we may share your data in the following cases:
- Third-Party Service Providers: OpenAI ChatGPT, and cloud storage services. We use ChatGPT API to generate stories and chapters.
- Legal Obligations: If required by law or to comply with legal processes.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the new entity.
4. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access and Update: Review and update your personal information using third-party platforms (e.g., Apple or Google).
- Delete Data: You can remove data associated with you by deleting the App. There is no way to restore the information since the next time you install the App a new unique ID will be generated, and all the information about stories or chapters will start from the very beginning.
7. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us at talaria@unpasso.org.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy in the App and updating the “Effective Date.”
